Must be the Money

Thanks to Liz Elton's friend that works at Radio K, a group of us got to go to The Myth and see Nelly for free! It was greatly entertaining.

I also took this opportunity to take some photographs of the sort of people that attend a Nelly concert.






























This man and his lady had matching black fur coats. I can safely say that this man's fashion guru is Snoop Dogg. He had on about 15 rings, long fingernails and a lil ponytail. They were kind enough to let me take this photo.. I wish it turned out better.






There were so many people taking photos and video the whole time. My question: do people feel the need to document everything instead of enjoying the moment b/c of all the electronics and technology we have? I'm guilty of it, but it was still very suprising the mass amount of it that was happening.

Day of Birth

This last weekend was my birthday weekend. T'was filled with presents and parties and fun. Here are some keepsakes:

Last but not least, Natalie made me the prettiest cherry cake ever. It was so tasty!



I was really hoping to get one of these for my birthday. (Really I just miss this one specifically)



Brendan Brogan left this image on my myspace and it has continued to haunt me. It looks so much like me and Hannah Mae combined! Scary!

I was introduced to this Berlin dance/ performing art collective by my friend Eric Jones. Constanza Macras / Dorky Park.
They're seriously talented, provocative and mesmerizing.

Pretties

Looking back on things I have on my photobucket account, I came across these beauties. I think I found them on a flickr account two+ years back.

Granite

I spent all last weekend in a granite rock quarry. Here are some images from the adventure.







The bus was the worst time for me, but these two lovelies kept me company.



The stage was built only for this purpose, and was pretty epic. During the show it looked like the end of close encounters.








It also reminded me and my coworkers of "a convention of faceless aliens"



























The performance was beautiful because the dancers had amazing bodies and perfect control and form, but I thought that the quarry itself took the cake. The music was slightly improv, and gave the whole thing a relatively creepy atmosphere. It was rainy and cold sometimes, but overall pretty amazing. I have finally gotten over my work hangover.

Laura Bush is currently eating in 20.21, and her secret service has taken over hennepin avenue to ensure her safety.
They're really taking over. I thought the parade of senators and lobbists were bad.
