Totally enticed by the hand painted sign and was pleasantly greeted by these hanging clowns.









These donut machines were amazing.. and The logo was pretty awesome as well

Natalie and I are totally diggin' the fair, but we take a break by the cart races, and eat an blooming onion. We only make it half way through.



We decide to go to the Haunted Mansion.



I'd never been to a haunted house before, but figured that being my ripe age of one month shy of 21, I figured I would be able to handle it. Not the case, screaming, shaky hands, and grabbing onto strangers arms for safety ensued.






We then head to the animal buildings. The horse stalls are pretty awesome. Except most of the horse's asses are facing out, and I keep imagining them kicking back at me.

The stables have a glittering ceiling and smiling faces as well.




Next, the sheep are being sheared.



This one is bleeding through the process.



These sheep are wearing these bizarre costumes. I believe that they are for warmth after the haircut, but look pretty rediculous regardless.









This. Now this, is the largest boar in Minnesota. He is 1200 lbs and his name is Pretty Ricky.

Among the fancy things in Territorial Pioneers, there is this case of origami animals. No explanation for them really, but they are amazing nontheless.


















I feel pride in surviving my first trip to a state fair. Apparently there were many more amazing things to see that I missed, but I'm not a fan of crowds, my pockets were emptied, and my stomach was full. Thanks MN State Fair.
